Prayer for Today

colossians-4-7

December 12, 2016

Father God, as I prepare to continue my day I know everything is not going to go my way. Everything is not going to look the way I think it should, everyone’s not going to act the way I think they should and somethings are going to end the way I think they ought to end.

Help me to guard my tongue and my emotions. Help me not to be judgmental nor condescending. Help me to check my ego at every door I go through today and remember; just because it’s not the way I would do it, doesn’t mean it’s the wrong  way to get it done.

Father, help put everything I see and hear today in proper perspective. In Jesus name, I pray. Amen.
