Lord, keep me from the pride of life, the lust of my eyes, my ears and my feelings. Help me not to fall into the trap of pride. I purpose not to allow my pride, ego or past conduct to stop me from being mindful of how much I need you.

All the glory for anything that goes on in my life should go to you and you alone. I don’t want, nor will I seek, your glory. I understand it is by you that I live, breath and have my being. It is because of you that I have the strength to make wealth and it is by your might and power that I am able to do all things. This is why all glory for anything that happens in my life goes to you.

Father, I want to be more like Jesus. I want to be humble and think more of others than I think of myself. Help me today. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.
