Lord God, your word says that if we ask anything of you, that is within your will, you hear us. And, if we know that you hear us, we know that we have whatever we ask.
Today Lord, I ask that you meet every financial need of our children. Whether it’s paying for college tuition, paying student loans, paying mortgage or paying monthly bills, your children need your help.
Father, your word says, money is the answer for everything, but we also need wisdom, understanding and prudence to be good stewards of everything you’ve given us. So, along with blessing your children with the finances they need, bless us with the wise to handle our money in the correct way.
I ask if they’ve gotten into financial difficulties because of their own greed or bad decisions, that you change their minds and give them the mind of Christ. If there’s a situation that they have no control over; a sickness of themselves or a family member, a divorce or something else, please help them see the light at the end of the tunnel and know that you are with them.
Father, your word teaches us that the love of money is the root of all evil. Save us from the vanities of this world and show us how to use the financial resources you’ve given us to bring the kingdom of God to earth.
In Jesus name, I pray. Amen.
