Faith Part 9 – Be it Unto Me!

September 22, 2016

“As Jesus went on from there, two blind men followed him, calling out, ‘Have mercy on us, Son of David!’ When he had gone indoors, the blind men came to him, and he asked them, ‘Do you believe that I am able to do this?’ “Yes, Lord,’ they replied. Then he touched their eyes and said, ‘According to your faith let it be done to you’; and their sight was restored.” Matthew 9:27 – 30a

Over and over again in scripture Jesus tells people “according to your faith let it be done to you.” This statement tells me, if I don’t have what I’ve asked God for either, it’s not my time to get it or, I don’t believe God can do what I’m asking him to do. It’s just that simple.

Our faith is our commerce in heaven. Without faith you can’t get anything from God. If you haven’t gotten what you’ve need from God, check your faith. Spend more time with him in prayer and meditation. Fast, read and study God’s word.

In the natural, we build faith in people by being around them, by communicating with them and by watching them be true to their word. The only way you can increase your faith in God is by getting to know him better. Increasing your knowledge of him and becoming transparent before him.

Today is a good day to take a real assessment of your faith. Do you know God’s promises to you? Do you believe them? Do you stand on them no matter what? Do you need to increase your faith in God?

Take some time to yourself and figure it out. Yes, start today. It’s too import to put off until tomorrow.

‘”Have faith in God’, Jesus answered.” Mark 11:22

Prayer:

Father, help me increase my faith. Lord please help my unbelief. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.

Minister Anita Wamble

10 Second Prayer

God specializes in handling our situations and circumstances. Nothing we can do or anywhere we can go is beyond God’s ability and desire to reach us.

Stop fretting over things you can’t do anything about and give them to God. He can take care of them completely.
