Word for Today

Where you are right now isn’t your final destination. Don’t act like you’ve made it when you’re still on your journey.

  1. Thank you for the lovely and timely prayer. I had a question — are you the Ms. Anita Wamble who used to be director of medical records at Highland Hospital? This is Mary T who used to work swing shift. I now am a cancer registrar and after the passing of our parents, my brother and I sold the house in the Bay Area and each bought our own homes — he is in CO and I am in Palm Springs. If you are the same Ms. Wamble I remember you fondly and hope your life is going well.

    1. Hello! Yes, I remember you. Oh my goodness! You have no idea how wonderful it is to hear from you. Sorry, it took me so long to get back to you but I’m recovering from knee replacement surgery, and I haven’t been checking my mailbox as often as I should.
I’m sorry to hear about your parents. I hope life is good for you in Palm Springs. I live in Maryland, right outside DC, and have been here for over 30 years. I hope all is well with you. Your email is so timely. I was just thinking that no one reads the emails and that I could really stop them and no one would miss them. Look at God, always ready to remind me that what I do matters to people. Thanks for the email.
