Lord, no matter where I go or what I do, You are always there. I can’t outrun You, fool You or deceive You. You know my every thought before I think it, every word out of my mouth before I say it and every action before I take it. And, You love me anyway.

I never leave Your mind, and You are always looking at me. I can never escape from Your gaze, and I am still within Your earshot. I cannot stray so far where You can reach me, and I can’t wander off to a place where You can’t save me. You keep me as close as Your next breath.

Knowing everything about me, all my shortcomings, all my evil thoughts, all my less than stellar actions, and You know my heart ultimately, and You love me anyway.

Father God, You are love. Everything about You is an example of how we are to love one another. Even while I’m still trying to move forward, out of my spiritual rut, help me love my neighbor, be there to help them when they need it, and be an example of Your love for all humankind.

I pray, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
