Father God, today I pray for those who can’t seem to handle everyday life without help from drugs. Legal and illegal drugs have become a part of their lives for handling the normal riggers of living. You did not design us to be dependent on anything or anyone other than You.
Lord, I pray that You would lose those addicted to anything from the bondage they are in and release them into Your love, peace, joy, and contentment. Allow them to find sweet sleep in You, not in a prescription bottle. Help them release the stress they are feeling by learning to rest in and rely on You.
Help them realize that nothing is impossible with you, but everything is in accordance with Your time, Your will, and Your way.
Lord, help relieve and heal our nation from its addiction to drugs of all kinds. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
