Father, Your word says that You wish that I would prosper and be in good health even as my soul prospers. So, if I’m not prospering financially or in physical health, it could be because I’m not prospering or growing spiritually.
Lord God, if I’m not prospering spiritually, that’s my fault. That means I’m not spending time with You in Your Word and in prayer. I’m not going to church and/or I’m hearing and reading Your word but not doing the word. Either way, I’m in the wrong, and I ask Your forgiveness.
Father, help me do like Jesus and carve out time to be with You. Just You and me. No TV, radio, telephone, computer, spouse, children or anything else, just some intimate time with You so that I may grow spiritually and then, I know You will allow me to prosper in other areas of my life because I will be filled with Your wisdom and understanding.
Thank You in advance for giving me the heart to seek You. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
