Father, we are half-way through 2016. There are things I planned to accomplish this year that I have completed, other tasks I am still working on or in the process of preparing to work on and then, there are things I had planned to do this year that I haven’t even started working on.

Father, maybe I bit off more than I can chew. Maybe I over committed myself with tasks for this year. Help me not beat myself up for possibly following short of the goals I set. Help me to assess where I am with the tasks and goals I set for this year and take off anything that is not in your will for me.

Help me to follow your lead. Show me what is important to you, what you want to me to, and how I should accomplish the plans you have for me. I purpose not to turn to the left nor to the right but to follow you Father God and be obedient to you in all I do.

In Jesus name I pray. Amen.
