Lord God, no matter what trouble or challenges may confront me today, I know you will keep me safe. You are my light and my salvation—whom shall I fear? You, Lord God, are the stronghold of my life, of whom should I be afraid?
I am encouraged because I know you, Lord God, have made me the head and not the tail; the first and not the last. I will be blessed when I go into a situation, and I’ll be blessed when I come out. You are going to bless the works of my hands if I obey his commandments.
God, you are the Creator of all things, and you have not given me a spirit of fear, but of power, of love and a self-controlled, well-balanced, calm, and sound mind. I will not be seized with alarm, because no one, not in heaven nor on earth, can do anything to me that you don’t allow. I am strengthened and fortified by the word of God.
I have the strength for all things in Christ who empowers me; I am ready for all things and equal to anything through Christ who infuses inner strength to me. That is: I am self-sufficient in Christ’s sufficiency. So, no matter what the day may throw at me I’m ready, prepared and completely capable of overcoming any obstacle. This is my day! In Jesus’ name. Amen.
