Father God, help me make good decisions today in every area of my life. I believe that our lives are made up of the decisions we make. I want the decisions that I make to be based on being obedient to you.

Help me not to fall for the lust of the eye, but instead, to do what I know is good and right in your sight. Lord, help me to say “no” to things that have little or no value to me. Things that if I purchase them or spent my time doing them, would make me an irresponsible steward of the resources you’ve given me.

Forgive me Lord for complaining about not having enough time or enough money, yet I’m not wisely using what you’ve provided for me. Forgive me for asking for more money, more talents, more time and more abilities when I’m not being a good steward of what you’ve entrusted to me.

Lord God, help me to identify my shortcomings in the area of stewardship and correct them by allowing your word to work in me.

In Jesus name I pray. Amen.
