Lord, it seems that in the middle of everything that’s going on I’m the one who is losing out. I want to move forward but it feels like every time I’m ready to move out, something happens. I want to walk in the fullness of who you’ve created me to be but it seems every time I make up my mind to breakout of my rut, something happens that puts me right back in the rut I want to leave.

Every time I think I can see my way clear to do something new or do something for the Kingdom of God, all hell breaks loose in my home, in my family, at work or with my friends. Sometimes, it seems that everything happens all at once. Lord God, help me!

Help me to keep my eyes stayed on you in the midst of the madness that seems to be breaking out all around me. Help me to stay connected to you even when everything around me wants my undivided attention. Help me to keep my heart and mind off the distractions and keep my mind steadfast on you.

Help me Lord to look to you and you alone for my help and strength In Jesus name, I pray. Amen.
